Beginner Glossary

Candle: A visual price period. This builder uses fictional positions unless a future approved data service is connected.
Parent candle: A higher-timeframe reference candle that provides context for a lower-timeframe trigger.
Trigger candle: The candle whose behavior completes a condition in the visual strategy story.
Zone: A visual price area that a candle may touch, retest, sweep, reject, or break.
Sweep: A declared or evaluated move beyond a reference followed by a reaction. It is not a guaranteed trade signal.
Entry: The planned level where a hypothetical trade would begin.
Stop: The planned risk boundary. The visual builder does not place orders.
Target: A planned profit objective used to describe the setup's structure.
Relationship: A typed connection describing how two compatible canvas objects relate.
Engine: A local evaluator that summarizes evidence in the canvas. It does not monitor a live market.
